Scénographie – frêne, écrous moletés
Le site de la maison Alexandra David Neel à Digne-les-Bains possède un musée dédié à la vie de l’autrice-exploratrice et à sa collection d’objets et d’œuvres. Parmi ces trésors, on retrouve un nombre importants d’estampes d’une grande diversité. La pluralité des formats imposé un système d’accrochage et une scénographie adaptée qui permette de varier les accrochages sans avoir à percer et repeindre les murs.
Je me suis donc inspiré de l’intérieur des yourtes mongoles pour dessiner ces croisillons de frênes assemblés par des boulons à écrous moletés. Ces écrous situés au points de croisement permettent donc d’accrocher les cadres selon leur format et les commissariat successifs.

Scenography – ash, knurled nuts
The Alexandra David Neel House in Digne-les-Bains boasts a museum dedicated to the life of the explorer-author and her collection of objects and works. Among these treasures are a large number of prints of great diversity. The variety of formats called for an appropriate hanging system and scenography that would allow for a variety of displays without the need to drill and repaint walls.
I drew inspiration from the interiors of Mongolian yurts to design these ash-tree lattices assembled by knurled nut bolts. These nuts, located at the crossing points, allow the frames to be hung according to their format and successive commissariats.
